After all she is a magic creation based on greek mythology. And the susceptibility to piercing weapons act as her achilles's heel in those versions. The ones that aren't bulletproof are still very durable to physical and energy attacks. There are version that are bulletproof, and versions that aren't. So sometimes it's bad writing on the WW comicsĪnd/or maybe an element of magic and less use of the physics laws Comics say her durability is great against physical and energy attacks. It's time for some people to stop trying to be their own writers and comic authorithy. But even the ones that aren't, can still be seen taking powerful physical and energy attacks. There are versions of her that are bulletproof. It's fiction, it doesn't have to follow the laws of physic. It doesn't make sense that she can deal with Superman's punches (and no blood comes out) but gets hurt by mere piercing bullets. If she has this great durability to physical/blunt attacks then she must also have great durability to piercing objects like swords, bullets, spears. So no, her body does not deflect bullets. Piercing objects like swords, bullets, spears, etc etc, she needs to block or else she'll get jacked up.
Wonder Woman has good durability against like, physical/blunt attacks. How else would you explain it? Wonder Woman's thumbs can tank Heat Vision but her body cant? Yeah that makes sense lol Her using her fingers to plug Superman's eyes is either bad writing, or she's not actually using her fingers, but instead clapping Sups' eyelids shut. I'm pointing out to you that Superman's heat vision burned her to the bone. :) "And again, no one is debating whether or not she was hurt by it. I know everything that goes on in those scans. What I am trying to say is that you can't deny that she was able to stop and contain the heat vision with her thumbs. Last Son Of Krypton said: " I know that she was hurt by it. If you're pressed for time by all means, we'll just agree to disagree. I even posted a scan that further illustrated your original statement. I thought we were debating whether or not Wonder Woman can "block" heat vision with her body. "Not sure what you're getting worked up about. Of course that is speculation as well but it makes more sense then her thumbs being more durable then her body ) Last Son Of Krypton said: " Really, if this is going to be some ridiculous back and forth battle, I do not have time for this. More likely, she reached around his heat vision and clamped his eye lids shut causing the rays to redirect. We never see her push anything back, and if she had, it should have burned her fingers off. You tried saying that she "pushed" his heat vision back, which is speculation. I'm pointing out that "containing" Superman's heat vision with her fingers in the same scan that it just burned her to the bone is either a contradiction or there is another explanation.
